A Spa Bargain

So because I suffer from Scoliosis, I do tend to treat myself with a massage every now and then. The last time I went, I noticed that the massage oil being used smelt more coconut-ty than before. When I asked what had changed, I was handed this little Sainsbury's number!

A solid, pure 100% coconut oil that melts luxuriously into your skin, hair or anywhere you feel needs some moisture. It is essentially a cooking oil and the smell of it in the tub itself does smell slightly food-like (if that makes sense) but I just can't get enough of using this at night after a bath, waking up and having the softest skin, it goes on like a dream.

You'll find this (actually rather large) tub, in the 'cooking oil' section for around £6 which I think is COMPLETELY worth the money - if you can get over the initial smell, I promise once it's on it's lovely!

So I've been thinking about taking on 'Project 10 Pan' for a while now, when I noticed quite a few products, shoved to the back of my draw because they've been replaced with newer, shinier things. Incase you're not familiar with 'Project 10 Pan' basically, I am going to (try to) use up ten, full size products before making any more makeup purchases, difficult I know. On the way, I will be reviewing each of them letting you know my thoughts on whether I would repurchase, recommend etc. Wish me luck!

I picked this polish up from my local Topshop when I actually went in looking for another in 'Nice n Neutral', a gorgeous nude that I spotted on Jessica's blog. This shade is called 'Domestic Goddess' which I think quite suits me (err...). It's coming up quite true to colour in the photo and it costs a reasonable £5, 'Domestic Goddess' is definitely one I love for everyday use as I find it goes with almost any outfit without you looking too 'matched', if that make sense?

Any other Topshop polishes worth a try?

Review: Chanel Inimitable Mascara

Hi everyone, hope you're all well :)

  So, I was given this little sample size of the mascara when purchasing Chanel's Mat Lumire foundation and to be honest with you I didn't really have high hopes. However, I have been SO pleasently suprised by this mascara and as it's fairly new, I decided that it needed some praise!

 When it comes to lashes, I like mine to look as thick and as long as possible even if it means a bit of clumping! However, this mascara manges to do both beautifully and still keep them somewhat 'natural' looking. The staying power is also perfect. I've managed to get through 12 hour shifts as a waitress and have hardly any flaking or lack of curl! It's hard to decide whether this knocks the YSL Faux Cils off my topspot but it definitly gives it a good run for its money! Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure this retails at around the £20 mark so maybe one to pop on your christmas list (I know I have).
